"Heart of the World" audiotapes are 6 tapes recorded of Fr. Thomas Keating's presentation at the Annual John Main Seminar.  This seminar celebrates the life and teaching of the Benedictine monk whose life's work was passing on the ancient practice of Christian Meditation to anyone who wanted to learn.  Past presenters to the John Main seminar are Bede Griffiths, Jean Vanier, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and others.

Fr. Thomas in his talks reintroduces us to Mary, Martha and Lazarus.  He helps us understand anew the work of shucking off the false self.  He reminds us that prayer is not about spiritual "yacking," but silent receptivity.  In these 6 talks, Fr. Thomas shows us the Heart of the World and speaks from his heart to ours.

"Sharing the Way" videotape is an informal conversation between Fr. Thomas Keating and Father Laurence Freeman, successor to John Main, who since 1992 has been directing The World Community for Christian Meditation.  This video was shot directly after the John Main Seminar.  In Part I they discuss "The traditional elements of spiritual life," and in Part II "The impact of contemplatives in the world today and tomorrow."
